Legendary radio personality and Boss Jock DAVE DIAMOND passed away TUESDAY, his blog confirmed. Starting at WXXX-WQFOR/HATTIESBURG, MS, DIAMOND’s career included stints at WIL/ST. LOUIS, WIBC/INDIANAPOLIS, KBTR and KLTK/DENVER, KFRC/SAN FRANCISCO and KHJ, KFWB, KRLA, KDAY, KCBS-FM KIIS and KFI-A/LOS ANGELES.

“DAVE DIAMOND passed on TUESDAY afternoon. He was peaceful at home,” the blog noted. “Our thoughts are with his friends and family.
